The Comfort Handbook

Every year, New Zealanders throw away 800 million plastic containers that could have been recycled. Additionally, Aotearoa has 67 different recycling schemes and rules that is region dependent, causing confusion and unaccountability of our incorrect recycling practices. The Complete Rubbish aims to help New Zealanders learn and practice correct recycling habits to their region in an easy and engaging way.

The architectural language of the reputation & structural components of the waffle roof was explored through the ‘warm & enclosure’ of the structure & spatial qualities of Wadestown Library. The theme of the waffle roof traversed through different forms, site and length.
